As a stone mason in Italy, their grandfather expressed his passion for creating homes with his own hands. As small children, they would assist their grandfather by mixing cement and together they would watch his dreams being realized. |

Their education in the field of building continued while helping their father. Mr. Rica senior was an Industrial Arts
Superintendent. His profession greatly complimented the successful construction company he ran. Every
weekend and through out the summer months, Don and Frank worked with their father and by the time they were
finished with their academic careers, they were well schooled in the art of building.
Frank earned his degrees at Kean College. His choice of fields, Industrial Education and Period Architecture, provided him with additional knowledge to begin his own renovation business. Frank's business began in 1978 and his expertise became quickly noticed. Soon he found himself building custom homes that touched every architectural period. Each home redefined his love for the art of building and ability to work with well with his clients. Don, sought his academic career at Trenton State University. He received his degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting. Don went on to become a Real Estate Appraiser and a Mortgage Loan officer for a local prestigious company. Never venturing to far from the "home business", he soon joined his brother and they formed "Rica Properties L.L.C." Since 1981, Don and Frank developed a reputation of having the ability to understand the needs and concerns of their clients. They work together with their clients to make their dream home a reality and the building process an exciting one. The foundation of their success is based on simple core values. Honesty and Professionalism. Good, long term relationships with their clients naturally fall into place. | |
